The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture has teamed up with other institutes to train and educate Cooperative Extension System personnel and other agricultural professionals in their corresponding states on the philosophy, certification, production methods and economics of organic agriculture systems.

The Organic Training Topics were developed to present an overview of the information and educate market growers, including certified organic growers, about proactive strategies to prevent food-borne outbreaks that may initiate at the farm level.
